Reset your password

Get an emailed link to choose a new password when you cannot sign in.

Who can do this: Anyone with a Ticket-Worx login.

Part 1Ask for a reset link

  1. 1Open the Ticket-Worx sign in page.
  2. 2Click Forgot password? above the password box.
  3. 3Type the email you sign in with in Email.
  4. 4Click Email me a reset link.
  5. 5Look for the Check your email. message. The link is on its way if that email has an account.
  6. 6Open the email and click Choose a new password. Check your spam folder if it has not arrived in a couple of minutes.

The link works once and expires after one hour.

Part 2Choose your new password

  1. 1Check that the email shown after For is your account.
  2. 2Type a password of at least 10 characters in New password.
  3. 3Type the same password in Type it again.
  4. 4Click Save and sign in. You are signed in and taken to your dashboard.

Saving a new password switches off any other reset links you asked for.

Tips

  • There is no change password screen inside the dashboard. To change your password while signed in, click Sign out, then use Forgot password?.
  • You can ask for up to 3 reset emails per hour for one account. Extra requests are ignored without a warning.
  • For security, the page shows the same Check your email. message whether or not the email has an account. If nothing arrives, check you typed the right email.

If something goes wrong

The page says This link no longer works.

Reset links last one hour and can be used once. Click Send me a new link and start again. If you asked more than once, use the newest email.

You see "This reset link has expired or has already been used. Ask for a new one."

The hour ran out while the page was open, or the link was already used. Go back to Forgot password? and request a new link.

You see "The two passwords do not match."

Type exactly the same password in New password and Type it again.

You see "Too many sign-in attempts. Please wait 15 minutes and try again."

Sign in is paused after 15 tries in 15 minutes from one connection. Wait 15 minutes, then sign in or reset your password.
